We played Liar's Dice to kill some time before starting Formula De.
Standing out this game:
Chris' mood was soured when he was first out losing all his dice. This was after and incredible round of seeming overbidding that turned out exactly right.

We played track #20, Australia -- two laps, with the basic rules plus the slip-streaming rule. A crash leaves an obstacle until everyone gets past it.
Standing out for this game... people were taking a lot of body damage, though no one lost for it.
Scott miscounted at one turn and ended up crashing during the second lap.
I burst ahead during the first lap but lost ground and played conservatively the rest of the game.
Dave was leading in the middle of the game.
Shawn was leading after that until the very end.

Chris is a fan of this game so we wanted to try it out.
Chris loaned us his pre-made decks.
Chris played the Brotherhood. Dave played Spider Friends. I played Sentinel.
This game reminds me of magic, except that resources are always available, and abilities and events don't stack.
I think the game played fairly evenly, though Chris thought his Spider Friends deck wasn't well tuned, and that's why that played out to Dave's disadvantage.
I turned down a chance to block Chris' attack at the end, and that cost me the game. Otherwise we would have tied and played another round. I was OK with that because this was more of a learning game.
