Rusty Scabbard session. 2-player Gheos, 2-player Battlelore.

Gheos

Players were Mark, myself. Mark was a new player to the game. Mark had the first turn.

Mark was new to the game and I've played it before in previous sessions. Mark went first.

I was doing well, and was afraid that I'd turn Mark off to the game by beating him badly. But he held his own, swapping leads in different civilizations as they went to war.

We saw two Epochs early on, then a few more towards the end of the game, but Mark ended the game by playing his final scoring token.

In the end, Mark won in a close scoring game.

We played the Wizards and Lore scenario. It's a game we could get into quickly because Mark is used to miniatures war games, and I could ease him into the mechanics of the game. Mark was new to the game and went first.

This also was a close game. Mark gave his turn a lot of thought and we both played fairly conservatively. Lore cards caused some surprising devastation but were only minor swings of advantage balanced over the many turns of the game.

In the end, Mark won the game.
