The Legend of Landlock is a two-player tile-laying game.

Each player draws a tile, then plays a tile. Land matches up with land. Water matches up with water. One player players land, the other water. However, the land player scores for the opponent when he makes an island, and the water player scores for the opponent when he makes a pond. As tiles are played, the tiles must be contained in a six by six grid.

There are two special tiles: 1) flowerbeds: they block land and water paths. A player scores a point for drawing this tile. A player replaces a tile with a flowerbed, and hands the replaced tile to the opponent to play the next turn. 2) bridges: they connect land and water paths, and are played the same as flowerbeds.

Some water paths have ducks. Adjacent ducks score points for the water player. Some land paths have frogs. Adjacent frogs score points for the land player.

The goal of the game is to connect the four edges of the game board with land for the land player, or water for the water player.

The winner is the player with the most points.

The production quality is high. Tiles are thin cardboard with colorful artwork.
